(ISC)2 Singapore Chapter is invited to partner with Bryan Consulting Group to support Girl Guides Singapore (GGS) in supporting the ASEAN Cybersecurity Skilling Programme (ASEAN CSP) under the ASEAN Foundation.

GGS hopes to create a greater interest and raise awareness in digital literacy, internet safety, cybersecurity among girls and young women. The ASEAN CSP aims to enhance the capacities of the ASEAN teachers, NGO/CSO facilitators, educators, youth job seekers and fresh graduates across 7 ASEAN-Member States to build a digital ecosystem for the ASEAN community on cybersecurity.

GGS is inviting us to collaborate with them in the ASEAN CSP. They hope to get our involvement in either or both of the following areas:
  • as a Master Trainer where you would get a chance to deep dive on cybersecurity through Microsoft-based learning materials provided by ASEAN Foundation and contributing to your community through Empowerment Sessions to 3,000 beneficiaries;
  • as a Beneficiary receiving knowledge on cybersecurity through the Empowerment Sessions facilitated by Master Trainers through a series of self-directed and synchronous outreach sessions.

Participants will have potential regional exposure, access to ASEAN Foundation’s huge network and can look forward to access to Microsoft’s resources on Cybersecurity. All participants will receive an e-certificate and a souvenir patch upon completion of the programme.

For the Master Trainers, the virtual training sessions will take place on 8 October 2022 and 9 October 2022 from 10 am to 4 pm. These sessions will be conducted by experts from Microsoft. The Master Trainer should have a background in IT/STEM/other related fields.

For the Beneficiaries, the sessions will be conducted from mid-November onwards. The first two sessions will be conducted on:
  • 19 November 2022 morning
  • 26 November 2022 morning

There will be more sessions to be planned in December and first half of 2023.

Please reply to Ms Jasmine Cheong, Head, Training Programme and Unit Development at jasmine@girlguides.org.sg if you are keen to collaborate on the event. If you come on board with GGS as partners for Master Trainers, they hope to have at least 5 female trainers from our Organisation on board.

Alternatively, you may drop your name and email and contact information and (ISC)2 Singapore Chapter will share with GGS. You may fill up the form at

Please submit your interest by 5 Oct 2022. Please note this application is only applicable to female members.

We look forward to our members working with them to make a difference in the area of cybersecurity!
