Singapore Scouts Association Cybersecurity Proficiency Program

In November 2023, the Singapore Scouts Association (SSA) partnered with ISC2 Singapore Chapter and CyberArk to launch the Cybersecurity Proficiency Programme. This initiative provides scouts with a structured learning pathway in cybersecurity, enhancing their digital skills and awareness.

This is a 6-tier through-train Cybersecurity Proficiency Badge programme, aligned with The Singapore Scout Association Youth Programme 2030 strategy, that empowers Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venture Scouts, and Rover Scouts to develop in-depth cybersecurity knowledge as they progress through each tier. The programme also equips scouts with ISC2’s Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) courses at the highest tier.

This collaboration aligns with SSA's commitment to embracing digital advancements and preparing Scouts for future challenges. By integrating cybersecurity education into their development, SSA and ISC2 Singapore aim to foster a generation of Scouts who are not only digitally literate but also proactive in safeguarding their online environments.​
