SYNOPSIS
Cloud Technology has now evolved into a very important strategic tool in the armoury of IT teams. But they also pose unique challenges in terms of securing them. As IT teams grapple with the challenges of integration and adoption of Cloud solutions, they look to their Infosec counterparts to provide them insights on what are the pitfalls to avoid.
The variety of Cloud technologies and solutions pose its own challenges to the Infosec team in defining a framework on securing and assessing architectures. In this talk, speaker will provide an insight into the unique characteristics of Cloud architecture that needs to be kept in mind while building a framework for securing Cloud solutions.

He is also a domain expert in the area of Banking, Capital Markets and Risk Management. In his earlier avatar, Hiren has served in several senior management positions including as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at CRISIL Ltd. (a S&P Global company), where he was recognized as one of Top 100 CIOs in India. Hiren has implemented many initiatives in the area of IT Infrastructure & Services, Application development and Information Security, which have resulted in multi-million dollar benefit for business he has supported. In his current role as President & Mentor at Net Square Solutions Pvt. Ltd., ɑ firm he co-owns, he helps some of the renowned brands globally in building ɑ robust cybersecurity strategy and practices. Hiren is regarded as ɑ thought leader and has been invited to share his views on technology at various forums including seminars in India and abroad, media publications and also as visiting faculty at many leading Educational Institutions. Hiren graduated ɑs ɑ Physics and Electronics major from Mumbai University and then qualified as ɑ Chartered Accountant (equivalent to CPA in US). He is also a CISA and CGEIT.
