SYNOPSIS

The increasing use of Artificial Intelligence algorithms have introduced both opportunities and new risks to businesses and society. While fundamentally similar in its use of data and programming languages to achieve computed outcomes, the means it achieves that differs from traditional programming paradigms. This introduces challenges to the way we have viewed Cybersecurity defences as well as testing of algorithmic weaknesses. This session will introduce what the differences are, as well as some of the well-discussed issues in this field. We will close with some of the different approaches that need to be re-established to cope with the changes.
