SYNOPSIS
Physical Security is often an overlooked or underserved tenet of Cyber Security. The most secure infrastructure and set up can be made meaningless if the facilities lose power or its cooling capacity resulting in a force shutdown. In many industries, a loss in availability is as damaging as an impact to Confidentiality and Integrity.
In this session, we’ll talk about the various protection mechanisms and best practices used in the loss prevention/Insurance industry to mitigate such risks.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Mr. Jimmy Tng
Principal Information Specialist
Jimmy Tng is Cyber Security Professional with 20 years of experience in the Insurance/loss prevention industry.
He has travelled around Asia Pac region and is instrument in the design and set up of data centres.
He holds certifications in CISSP-ISSMP, CCSP, CCNA, Azure Fundamentals and Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate.
Currently holding a position of Principal Information Specialist, he spends his time advising customers on the industry’s best practices and is the go-to guy for all things cyber related and the best place for Kuay Chup.
A life-long Liverpool FC fan, he turns vegetarian whenever his team loses. He also does Japanese Kendo (Sword Fighting) on weekends and currently holds a 2nd degree black belt.
